If you have not been to Bali, you have not been to the most tempting tropical summer destination in the world. Bali is easily the most popular island in Indonesia, primarily for its world-class white-sand beaches. Below are helpful information about Canggu Beach and other Bali beaches.

Located 20-minutes away from Central Seminyak, Canggu Beach is all about serenity, tranquility and peace. Easily the most preferred beach in all of Bali, Canggu Beach is best enjoyed for sunbathing, swimming and surfing. The best draw, however, is the serenity of the coast, which makes it perfect for guests to simply sit down, take things easy and enjoy the scenery. Life here is relaxed and very laid back. Watching traditional Balinese fishermen letting down their nets on the horizon early in the morning or just as the sun is setting is a favorite site among photographers. Tourists, photo enthusiasts, and nature lovers are treated to a very scenic beach view on one side and wide mesmerizing rice fields with fleeting birds and butterflies on the other side.

While Canggu is enough reason for tourists to start booking plane tickets to Indonesia, Bali is not a one-beach wonder. It is home to a dozen more beaches, and one of them is Dreamland Beach, also known as Kuta Beach. With basic accommodation and cafes, Kuta Beach regularly receives beach bums, day-trippers and surfers. It is popular for its dangerous shore-break. The first to discover Kuta’s long sandy coastline were Australian surfers and backpackers from other parts of Asia. Before the 1950′s, this beautiful beach was just a sleepy fishing village. Its development was slow. Today, however, Kuta’s four-star hotels and budget guesthouses are always busy with guests. There are also major restaurants, cheap bars, shopping malls and entertainment clubs to keep tourists engaged. There are two malls, the Discovery Shopping Mall and Kuta Square, and rows of tiny souvenir shops along Jalan Kartika Plaza, Jalan Pantai Kuta, Legian and Seminyak.

Another well-visited Bali beach is Sanur or Sunrise Beach. Sanur is actually a traditional Balinese village, as it is a tourist destination. The area is a seamless mix of traditional culture and modern entertainment facilities. Sanur is a small area, which makes it perfect for a leisurely walk. Its main attractions are the Padang Galak Memorial Monument, Sekenan Temple, Blanjong Temple, and a number of galleries such as the Seiki Torige’s Open Space Gallery, Griya Santrian Gallery, Darga Gallery, and Le Mayeur Museum. There is much history here since it was the first tourist destination developed in the island. Although newer tourist areas have now been developed in Bali, this place will always be visited and toured for its amazing beach, greenery and local culture.

Meanwhile, tourists who love dolphins must go to Lovina Beach located in the Kalibukbuk area, northern Bali. A bunch of dolphins regularly show themselves in the morning about 1 km into the sea. Other than these friendly marine animals, Lovina is also famous for its calm waters, chromatic black sand, picturesque sunsets, the nearby Hot Water Banjar, Buddhist shrines, and the popular Git Git Waterfall.

One article won’t be enough to cover all about Canggu Beach and other Bali beaches. There are so many reasons to come to Bali, including the other popular beaches such as Sunrise Beach, Candi Dasa Beach, Padang Padang Beach, Bingin Beach, Jimbaran Beach, and Amed Beach. These amazing sites and other natural wonders make Bali one of the top summer destination picks in the world.
